Lemberg Wine Estate

This small boutique cellar lies situated in the heart of the historic Tulbagh Valley, also known as the valley of abundance, surrounded by the views of the majestic Witzenberg and Winterhoek mountains and the Klein Berg River.

Henk du Bruyn purchased the 22 ha farm in 2007 and so realised his dream to become part of the science, passion and art of winemaking.

The young, talented winemaker David Sadie joined the Lemberg team in 2011.

Lemberg was formally established in 1978 by the celebrated winemaker Janey Muller, who became well-known for her pioneering winemaking style with the Sauvignon Blanc and Hárslevelű cultivars.

These original Sauvignon Blanc vines still produce the aromatic, crisp wine that is crafted to this day.

We are equally excited about our new young vines of Pinot Noir, Pinotage and Viognier that hold the promise of our own unique terroir wines.
