Murludi Hiking Trail

Murludi Hiking Trail is situated in the Winterhoek Mountains and offers spectacular views of the Tulbagh Valley, diverse plant life, and 10 km of safe, well-maintained hiking trails ranging from 2-hour walks to full-day hikes.

The trail features two routes — the Elsbos Route (10 km) and the River Route (4 km).

The shorter route meanders around orchards and an irrigation dam, offering a glimpse into the farm’s working landscape.

The longer route leads along the lower slopes of the Winterhoek Mountains, showcasing beautiful mountain fynbos and some of the most breathtaking views of the valley.

Relax in the tranquil hydrangea garden during summer or enjoy a picnic beneath the trees along the river.

Visitors must purchase a permit at the farm office to access the trails.

Ample, safe parking is available, along with public toilets and drinking water.

Please note that dogs are not permitted on the farm.
