The Lark is an open-plan self-catering studio with a private entrance, covered patio, and enclosed garden.

We are located 7.3 km outside Tulbagh, centred between the two town entrances, with access via a 500m gravel road from the R46 Tulbagh Weg Main Road.

The studio consists of a double bed, an open-plan alley kitchenette, and a separate bathroom with a shower facility. The kitchenette is equipped, though simplistic. A ceiling fan keeps you cool during the hot summer days, while an electric heater provides warmth through the cold winters. You also have access to Wi-Fi and OpenView DStv.

The covered patio offers a four-seater table and chairs for outdoor dining, along with a bench for relaxation. The rustic garden features a summer cold shower for a refreshing spoil and a cosy fire pit for the traditional South African braai – with starter wood supplied.

Please note, we rely on a borehole for water supply assisted by a pressure pump, and Eskom power for electricity. Backup lanterns and fresh bottled water are provided.

This is a working farm, so day-to-day activities do occur.

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
